At S&C, drafted, negotiated, and closed $1.7 billion credit facility with prominent investment firm; conducted, managed and completed off-site diligence in securities offerings; researched, drafted and presented comprehensive memoranda surveying recent developments in California finance lender laws.
Compliance and M&A work includes drafting D&O questionnaires for top investment bank in accordance with federal law; devising M&A alternatives for new online venture.
Significant “Pro bono” efforts include resolving governance problem for religious instution; organising, fundraising and gaining rare firm-wide support for AIDSWalk-LA; elected as liaison between Firm and ACLU-Los Angeles to spur volunteerism.

2005 Summer Associate - Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP (NYC)

In Cravath’s transactions department, participated in drafting, negotiation and closing credit facility for publishing house. Litigation work included preparing motions, researching case law, assisting at deposition, and joining-forces with partner in cross-examination of expert witness; authored memoranda on propriety of “event studies” as a measure of calculating lost-profit damages in IP cases.

Full-time employment offer received; respectfully declined due to relocation.
